1N3, Inc. is respectful of its volunteers’, partners’ and victims’ privacy. 1N3 sometimes requests information so that we may better serve you and accomplish its charitable mission. This Privacy Policy explains how 1N3 uses the data you provide. Types of information collected and used.
1N3 may collect two types of information about its users: Personal Information and Aggregate Data. Personal, or personally identifiable information, consists of information you provide 1N3. Only with your permission, 1N3 may use this information to contact you about 1N3 Mission Related events or content. 1N3 may also request additional information in the future.
Personal Information.
1N3 typically requests Personal Information when you request 1N3 materials, inquire about volunteer opportunities, request 1N3’s electronic newsletter, register with 1N3’s website, or donate. 1N3 may also request information when you participate in discussion forums, inquire about future local chapter, sign up for 1N3’s activities. 1N3 ONLY obtains the Personal Information you choose to provide. In an effort to keep your information current, 1N3 may contact you in the future electronically, by email, U.S. Mail or telephone. You may always choose to opt out of any future communication.
1N3 collects, processes and stores your information in the United States of America. 1N3 does not sell your email address to other businesses or organizations for their general use. On occasion, you may receive an email relating to 1N3's mission from third-party service providers acting on 1N3's behalf and at 1N3's request. For example, we may release Personal Information to such third-party service providers to advise you of our upcoming events, products, volunteer opportunities, fundraising or cause related marketing opportunities. These surveys are used for quality assurance purposes, and to improve our level of service. Donations.
When you register with www.iam1n3.org, volunteer or make a donation you may be asked if you would like to receive further correspondence. If you indicate yes, you will be placed on our e-mail distribution list. If you prefer to be removed from 1N3’s distribution list at a later time, you may opt out at any time. 1N3 may process standard debit or credit card information, including but not limited to card number, card type and expiration date using a secure, encrypted SSL session. SSL is the proven standard for secure web messaging transactions. 1N3 maintains records of all donations, however your Personal Information is kept private and confidential. Additionally, all information is stored in a secure location accessible only by 1N3’s authorized representatives. 1N3 will retain your Personal Information to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. 1N3 will establish minimum and maximum retention periods based upon the type of information collected, the intended purposes and as otherwise required by law.
Donation Refund Policy
If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to 1N3, we will honor your request for a refund made within 30 days of your donation.
To request a refund, call +1 (423) 710-8754. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
Public Forums.
Any Personal Information you post or share in a public forum or message board will NOT be private. Participation in public forums may require the public release and dissemination of the information you provide. Therefore, 1N3 cannot guarantee that the information you provide publicly will be treated confidentially in the same manner that Personal Information will be treated under this Privacy Policy.
Aggregate Data.
Standard web server/visitor traffic information is commonly referred to as "Aggregate Data". Aggregate Data is automatically collected by web servers as part of their basic web log processes. 1N3 does not report on individual user sessions. When you visit the website, 1N3 automatically collects Aggregate Data about your visit. 1n3 collects Aggregate Data to help 1N3 improve its website and enhance your overall experience.
